HMI Controllers are used for a number of applications which include OEM machine control, production line monitoring, and manufacturing operation. They form a primary function as a means for a person to interact with the equipment and can form part of a DCS control structure or act as a single node machine interface. The goal of interaction between a human and a machine at the user interface is effective operation and control of the machine, and feedback from the machine which aids the operator in making operational decisions.
