iLaser 4 is a non contact laser encoder device. As such, it has a long life cycle with very low maintenance.

The iLaser4 system uses advanced, laser-based technology to precisely measure the length and speed of product during production without making contact with the moving goods. This laser encoder projects a unique pattern on the surface of the product. As the product moves, light is scattered back to the laser encoder unit. This information is translated into product speed and pulses are produced to determine the product length. Length and speed measurements are captured with better than +0.05% accuracy. The iLaser4 laser optical encoder with measurement speeds up to 1320 ft/min (400 m/min), ensures reliable measurement with no wear or tear of moving parts.
